We’re Martin and Wendy — a couple in our mid-50s who have been together for more than 20 years, and who genuinely love discovering great food, drinks, and memorable places along the way. We’re self-proclaimed foodies with a strong appreciation for craft cocktails, local beer, wine, and bourbon. You’ll usually find us searching for the kind of places that have personality — whether that’s a neighborhood brewery, a hidden speakeasy, a beachside patio, a small-town distillery, a classic pub, or a hole-in-the-wall spot that turns out to have the best meal of the trip. Some of our favorite experiences have come from the most unexpected places, and that’s exactly what inspired us to start sharing our reviews and travel experiences. Now that our kids are mostly grown, we’ve entered what we like to call our “Platinum Years” — a season of life where we finally have more freedom to travel, explore, and enjoy the experiences we worked so hard for.
